| Behind the Drawing Board Liz Frazier began LA Design Company in 1988. With decades of practical experience, Liz brings a palette of insightful and innovative design solutions to a project. Liz has maintained a license to practice landscape architecture in Arkansas since 1983. She is actively involved in the regulation of the profession, both in Arkansas and internationally. From 1984 through 2009, she was appointed by 3 governors to serve the Arkansas State Board of Landscape Architects, and was Chairman for 10 years. Since 1988, she has and continues to serve the Council of Landscape Architect's Registration Boards, an international Council that regulates the licensing of Landscape Architects. Currently, she one of a a 5 landscape architect committee that writes the graphic design portion of the Landscape Architect's Registration Examination, which is given to candidates in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. She was the first woman graduate from the University of Arkansas' School of Landscape Architecture in 1981.
